With almost a decade of experience as a Cambridge newborn photographer, and mum of two, please know you're in safe & gentle hands to capture this precious fleeting season in your lives. My work is a unique mix of lifestyle and studio newborn photography, so that we create newborn baby photos that feel true to you rather than your tick off a list of baby pictures you think you’re suppose to have. Being a Cambridge newborn photographer, and a sentimental mother now out of those early newborn days, I prioritise capturing the gentle tender moments between you & your baby in a way that is unique to your story and family. I create baby photos that will help you to remember this season years from now. My newborn photoshoots are true, authentic storytelling, a celebration of new life, new parents, the beginning of a family story told in a timeless & natural way. Some parents bring family heirlooms, some share parts of their routine that are part of the newborn bubble, some have experienced loss & want to incorporate their child who has passed. These are your family memories, it’s important they tell your story. Ahead of your session you’ll be sent a questionnaire to help me get to know you better, and if you’d find it helpful we can zoom over a cuppa too so you can get to know me better. During your newborn photoshoot I will quietly document the stillness, gentle movement, connection & love between you all. No stiffness or awkward posing. Just love and simply being together. Being a relaxed Cambridge newborn photographer it’s important to me that you have an enjoyable & cherished experience so my promise is to capture your newborn baby in a gentle, unhurried & natural way. To give you newborn photos that you can look at in years to come and truly remember the precious newborn hazy days. Whether it’s cosy at home or in my newborn photography studio in Biggleswade, we will capture the most precious memories your mothering heart will never want to forget… their teeny tiny fingers, the creases of their toes, their weight on your chest & the smell of their tiny head. NATURAL NEWBORN BABY PHOTOGRAPHY IN CAMBRIDGE

My newborn photoshoots are relaxed & unhurried. I don’t believe in restricting our time together to 1-2hrs because from years of photographing newborn babies, this only makes for a stressful experience for parents. So I only book 1 studio session a day that way you can completely relax & make yourselves at home. We take it slow, stopping for nappy changes & feeding. I will guide you with gentle direction, nothing will ever feel forced or awkward. My flexible newborn sessions are perfect for parents a little bit nervous, that want a truly calm and stress free newborn photography experience. My newborn photography studio is located in my Victorian house in Biggleswade, serving Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire & Cambridge families. The studio space is draped in linen and we’re treated to the soft natural light pouring through large Victorian windows & paned doors; the perfect backdrop for your newborn photoshoot.

STUDIO NEWBORN PHOTOSHOOT FAQS

Yes, my newborn sessions are flexible. We provisionally pencil a flexible date in my diary around 7 days from your due date which is moveable depending on when little one arrives. My newborn sessions are gentle & laid back, always baby led; my intention is to give you a cherished experience. I’ll get the kettle on and pastries in the oven ready for your arrival 

Any age of your newborn is perfect to capture, I personally love to capture newborn babies in the first 4 weeks of life but am also experienced in photographing babies ranging 4 weeks and upwards through to older babies at 9-12 months of age.

When is the best time to capture my newborn baby?

When is the best time to book a newborn photoshoot?

I always recommend for newborn sessions, to reach out at the 20wk point of your pregnancy as I book up months in advance; particularly weekend slots. For newborn sessions, we pencil in a date 7-10 days after your due date. When little one arrives, we can adjust the date if needed.

Yes absolutely, I love to capture mothers in their pregnancy then to meet & capture their baby; it’s such an honour to photography their journey in full. I offer a £100 discount when you book your maternity and newborn session together as a thank you
